Vilnius, Lithuania (September 1-3, 2016)
On September 1-3, in Vilnius (Lithuania), Professor Natalia Chaban led a research workshop and a meeting of senior partner of the international research project “Crisis, conflict and critical diplomacy: EU perceptions in Ukraine, Israel and Palestine” (C3EU). The Meeting was attended by all partners: Ukraine’s National Institute of Strategic Studies, Cherkasy National University and Kharkiv National University; University of Ben Gurion at the Negev (Israel), TU Darmstadt (Germany); University of Leuven (Belgium), Royal Holloway (UK), Vytautas Magnum University (Lithuania), and University of Toledo (USA).
The meeting featured final reports of media analysis. The report fed into the team discussion about the main findings of this stage of the project and policy recommendations. Researcher Workshop #3 featured research training in elite interview techniques – questionnaire design as well as data collection, storage and data analysis. Human Ethics regulations were also detailed.
In September 2016, the C3EU project entered its second year and had involved 32 researchers from 11 countries.
