Dr. Reindl-Krauskopf is a Professor of Criminal Law and Criminology at the University of Vienna/Austria, head of ALES – Austrian Center for Law Enforcement Sciences, University of Vienna and a Honorary Professor at the TC Beirne School of Law at the University of Queensland/Brisbane, Australia.
In her research she focuses on corruption in the private and public sector, (fraudulent) abuse of social services, criminal organisations, cybercrime, tasks and responsibilities of the executive and the judiciary in law enforcement and fundamental rights. She is also member of several (Austrian) ministerial expert groups on criminal law matters and of the Board advising the Austrian Minister of Justice in matters of ministerial instructions to be given to the prosecution authorities.
